Why is it that you don’t mention when deals are for refurbished items? Today’s Woot is an example.
I thought Woot! was always refurbed?
Nope, woot is sometimes refurbed (R0X0RZ) and sometimes new. It depends – it’ll say on the main page.
Refurbs are usually just as good. I just spent $56 on a 802.11G router.
Oh yeah, I got my Tivo free because it was a refurb and I bought lifetime service with it. It runs 24/7 and has never given me trouble. I guess that’s a pretty good testament to the durability of refurbs.
The AMEX card deal looks great at first, until you realize that there’s an annual fee of $35 (waived for 1st year), and an APR of at least 14.65% on purchases. Plus everything is reported to the feds care of the Patriot Act provisions.
Resist the cash-free economy!
“Free Junior Hand-Scooped Yogurt Cup or Cone Until 08/31″
I’m not sure I’d want to eat something that someone had scooped with their hand.
(What other kind of yogurt cone do they sell anyway?)
