Bat manufacturers, spurred by a ban on aluminum bats, are bringing back the hickory bats used in Babe Ruth’s day.

    Lawmakers feel a need to protect the children by outlawing aluminum bats because they perform too well and hence could hurt children, so businesses come out with wood bats that perform as well as aluminum bats.

    Nice.
