I wish ducks really did this to people.

That could be a new AFLAC advertisement!

Damn, what is it with people and their lawns? Thank God my grassy patch isn't enough to cover a decent burial plot.

I too have nothing of merit to say, but feel I must note that the picture used is one of the best the Consumerist has posted. EVAR.

@RandomHookup: you know, i once read an interesting article about lawns & how they have come to typify american culture & the american dream (which incidentally is my one gripe with this article b/c it incorrectly attributes the modern lawn obsession w/ the "leave it to beaver" tv era, when the trend actually started more than 50 years before the tv was even invented).

i find useless information such as this incredibly captivating. if you do too, check out this article from the canadian centre for architecture:

Glad you like the photo! It's called the Thieving duck and I took it in Chicago in 2005! Check out my blog post above for more info about it!

Wonderful that you blindly post Republican propaganda by career Republican propagandist (and part-time TV/film hack) Ben Stein without so much as qualifying it. I want my 2 cents of linkthrough revenue back!
