I’ve had Geico a few months now. My only beef with them is that they have *never* sent me a bill. I’ve received all kinds of notices from them via mail and email, but never billing statement. My policy has almost been canceled twice because of this, and when I complain, the only explanation they can give is that it’s getting lost in the mail, or caught in spam filters.

I got a laptop after a co-worker left the company. On it, he had pictures of himself and his girlfriend. Naked. He was married to someone else. He was an evangelical Christian, always going around telling us all we were going to hell, etc.

We got a big chuckle out of the pictures.

The Apple issue is such a non-issue as to be just plain stupid. Apple has ALWAYS embedded the user info into the song, getting rid of the DRM didnt change this.

But the more important point is, if people are REALLY that upset that their music might have their user ID on it, then what the hell where they planing to do with it in the first place. Only reason having a song have your user ID could be a problem, is if you where planning on illegally distributing it on the net.

@Falconfire: And to futher the point, the old way of getting DRM free music from iTunes, like the Hymn-Project and other m4p to m4a/aac converters is that they only stripped the DRM, but not the identifying information.

I’ve had Geico just over six months, myself. They only recently became available in NJ (a couple of years ago?) and I switched to them when I bought my new car, since they wanted a lot less than my current insurer.

But they’ve always been incredibly good about sending me everything. When I created my new policy, I had the paperwork within 2-3 days. Then I went online and made a small change, and the new papers again showed up in about 2 days! It was kinda eerie.

I always get my bills with plenty of time to pay. I got my renewal notice about 1.5-2 months ahead of time, and a reminder about 2-3 weeks ahead. Bills show up very consistently.

Maybe it’s because I refuse to use email for important bills.
