The Credit Card Song

If we ever make a Consumerist.com mixtape, this song is going on it. It's all about people who can't control their spending desires. They see something they want, and rather then save up for it, they put it on a credit card, the "Never Never Never" credit card (as in, never gonna pay it off). It's kinda catchy, maybe you'll catch yourself singing it before your next impulse purchase and resist the urge to pull out the plastic. — BEN POPKEN

That is a catchy song.

I also like the idea of a Consumerist mix tape but I'm at a loss as to what else would be on there.

"Serving up a slice of Americana" with Anglophilic tendencies. Way to spell "authorising." Anyway, the song it's catchy and made me feel like tearing up my credit cards.

......$25,000 for a Les Paul? Youch! It better be a 1950s sunburst or something! You can get a new one for $2500!

almost offtopic but I stumbled across this little GEM of gangsta life in Utah and I have been waiting for an opportunity to spead the hillariousness that is in this song/video.

*Laugh* It's sad how true that song is for many people in this country. Anyone see that new Visa commercial? It's actually kind of disturbing, they have that song "Downtown" playing while this woman runs all over the city buying tons of stuff. What has become of the world?
