Can I Get This Cheaper Online? Text Frucall
Frucall upgraded its free instant comparison shopping service for cellphones so now all you have to do is send a text message. Simply text "fru" and the product barcode to a special number and get the results back by text.
Also, Frucall mWeb offers a "streamlined" version of Frucall.com for you to use on a web-enabled cellphone.

You can already do this with Google's (quite excellent) text message search. Just send a product name followed by "price" or a UPC or ISBN to GOOGLE (466453) and you'll get 3-4 web prices from Froogle.

I heard about this a couple months back, but never got around to trying it. I'm more likely to use the voice service since I have minutes aplenty, but the computer voice isn't always the easiest to understand. I love that it includes estimated shipping in the prices, though.
