Hey kids, let's make a tshirt! You write the slogans, you pick the good ones. The winning slogan gets made into a tshirt. If we pick your slogan, you get 3 free shirts and everlasting fame and glory.
Inside there's a fancy form with magic computer code that lets you submit a slogan. After you submit, you go to the voting.
Be sure to read the legalese that tells ya we own your slogan. You can submit as many slogans as you want, but only one every 30 minutes. We'll pick the winning slogan in two

The 30 minute timer has a bug. I had accidentally tried to submit my slog before the 30 minute delay, and it appears to have reset the timer to an additional 30 minutes from my failed submission.

Didn't we try this last year?
I already voted, but I noticed there are a lot of slogans that contain trademarked names (AOL, Walmart, etc). You might as well scratch those. I think if you try to sell a Tshirt with the name and/or logo of one of these corporations, you're going to find some lawyers knocking on your door.
Plus, consumerist is bigger than any one company!
What if I have a cool logo to go with the slogan?

I'm guessing they didn't like the submissions they got, or didn't like how people voted. Either of which would completely defeat the purpose of having community-driven t-shirts. But maybe I'm wrong?

Hey, me too! I submitted "Buyer Be Aware" last time, and, frankly, I still think that's the best one. Come to think of it: Seller Beware / Buyer Be Aware has some kind of funky vibe to it.
