just tangentially related, don't forget to clean your desktop PC's video card cooler when you're cleaning your desktop. I did that to my roommate's PC recently and drastically reduced the hair-dryer howl it produced.
Here I thought I was reading consumerist and not lifehacker...

I've discovered that you can increase the dirt blasting power of a spray duster by running it under hot water for a minute before using it.
.....Nice, SuperJdynamite. You can also blast acne by putting a lit lighter in front of your face and spraying Lysol through it. (We used to kill roaches this way back in school, till we accidentally set the carpet on fire...)
.....The can of 3M dust Remover I'm looking at has copious bursting warnings about exposing it to sun or heat, and such. Hmm, I wonder if 1,1-difluoroethane burns. Yes, says Wikipedia. Mmm. Flash-fire! I've got to head outside and try this!
