Yankworthy information + Amazon affiliate tag = no complaints from the content originator, I'm sure.

That must have been a lot of work to put together. Thanks, Ben!

By the way, a LOT of these deals are just mispriced items. A bathroom towel warmer with an original price of $15,000 and marked down to $130? For 15 grand it bad better be capable of... oh nevermind.

I don't know if it's working. I looked at books and DVDs at 90% and it appeared that none of them were even close to that markdown. There's a mistake somewhere.

Thanks for all the hard work, but as homerjay pointed out there are some seriously screwed up prices in there.. $6000 for a 50's style chrome dinette set?

"A bathroom towel warmer with an original price of $15,000"

Finally, the answer to the question of where that Tyco exec bought his $60,000 shower curtain! He probably bought a couple of the $15K towel warmers too.

Any such hackage for the UK amazon community? Or is it a matter of changing the URL to .co.uk?

Re: That must have been a lot of work to put together.

It is easier than you might think. The "manually hacking Amazon's URLs" link leads to a blog post that explains how you can do it by hand.

Anyone know how frequently these are updated? Daily, weekly, etc? I'd love to check back on the day of markdowns and take advantage of the savings!

Saw this website in a signature on SlickDeals.

I've been using junglecrazy.com for sometime--it has a similar setup. It scrapes Amazon for anything 70%+ discounted, ranks them by popularity, and sorts them with tags. This way it doesn't have issues with $5000 bath towels marked down to $130 or whatever.

The downside to junglecrazy is that there isn't much turnover on the lists, checking once per month is sufficient. These lists will probably have the same issues too, but so it goes.

Great job on your setup too!

Thanks for this. Otherwise, I never would have found this killer deal: [www.amazon.com]

You can do the same thing (minus the affiliate links) at [eleven21.com]

Amazon.com and Amazon.ca versions there.

I noticed that it also incorporates used item pricing when using "Price: low to high". What I want to do is go after (lets say) 90% off, only from Amazon.com (for free shipping), and priced low to high without the used price being included. Is there anyway to remove the used pricing from the list on amazon???

I clicked on the ones for Apparel and Accessories, and it says there's no results in Vision Sunglasses...

user-pic

I get the same result Vision Sunglasses... I think Amazon is countering the deal hacks.

I wrote a site a few years ago called Spendfish: [spendfish.com] that compiles a nice friendly searchable database of deals found on amazon. If you found these links useful you may find spendfish useful as well.

Have you looked at some of the "original prices"? I cannot believe that the $3 kitty catnip toy I looked at under "90% off" originally went for $92!! as they claim. (dude, it's a $3 toy...)

Much like the above tool, Jungle-Search.com allows you to search Amazon.com by percentage off. It also allows you to search by category, subcategory, brand name, price range and more. This one is definitely worth a look!
