Omaha steaks are only fantastic if you like your meat USDA Grade D(as is dog). Seriously, I got in on one of the 12 steaks +20 Hamburgers + bunch of other crap + set of knives for $65 and I don't think I'll do it again. The meat was just bad. I've frozen steaks that I bought at the store and later thawed and cooked them, so I don't think it's just bad because it's frozen. It starts off bad.
I'm not sure I'd buy any product on "year end clearance" that could give you e. coli.
just a thought.
