Good news for those of us who are not accountants. The IRS has released a free tax guide to help answer your questions. The guide serves as an “overview of common tax issues in one convenient place.”
It covers:
•Plan to Retire at some point? Retirement accounts.
• New baby? Child Tax Credit.
• Sell stock? Capital Gains.
And it’s free! —MEGHANN MARCO

I have nothing constructive to say. I just love the photo that was used for this post. I can relate. My new cat believes my MacBook is his own personal heating pad…
Hey, two kitties.
Also, blah at it being a PDF. Adobe’s “eating 50M of your memory while not even open” applications can suck it.
(But kudos on noting that it’s a PDF, unlike so many other sites)
@Xkeeper: Oh god, use Foxit Reader! [lifehacker.com]
I’ve been using it for a couple years and I’ll never go back to Adobe’s bloatware reader.
