Do our logins from other Gawker Media sites work here?

user-pic

I certainly hope you realize that the room you linked to is completely full.

And whatever happened to the "just enter the name/password you want" option?

user-pic

Oh darn, I did not realize Xkeeper. I will extend by 30 min or so and open up 2 more rooms to deal with overflow. Thanks for the heads up.

I just got in, and Ben said he was going to open up more rooms.

Here's 2 new rooms if the first is full.

Hi,

Thank you for the invitation. I have enjoyed visiting this site for the past several months.

user-pic

your login works on all Gawker Media sites..

Eh, I feel strangely smug and self-satisfied that I received my commenting privileges by submitting an appropriately witty comment... or at least, an appropriately obscene comment at a time the approver was napping.

Regardless, yay new people!

user-pic

Wow. This was unexpected. Thanks!

Ya, I agree with OnoSideboard. Now I don't feel so special...

Free, huh? How much do these normally cost?

user-pic

Charging for plastic bags, utensils, etc. is the law in Taiwan, and has been for several years.

Even if I didn't get charged for plastic bags or a discount for bringing my own, I still bring my own. A sturdy canvas grocery bag holds more weight, doesn't rip and is more comfortable to carry than a disposable plastic or paper bag.

Unfortunately, I haven't found a satisfactory solution for produce. I still have to use those small clear plastics bags to store and separate the tomatoes, peppers, etc. so the cashier can
weigh them.
