For folks not digging the water in the water bottle tripod:
Know what, fill that bad boy with Sand instead of water, less chance of accidents. Or some other heavy substance, like more nuts and bolts. Whatever will fit through the mouth of the bottle.
Oh and you could always fill it with sand and then stick some cotton balls at the very top to prevent sand from spilling out.
