Smack Deal Of The Day
Jellyfish's Smack Deal of the Day goes on at 1pm. It's like Woot! except a reverse auction: as units sell, the price goes down. The game is to buy the product at the lowest price possible.
Today's is a Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3.0 Keyboard & Mouse, starting at $64.91 with free shipping.
Previous Smack Deals had XBox360s with $151.67 cash back, and a 80gb video iPod with $144.58 cash back.
Jellyfish posts each day's deals at 12:45 pm ET every day on their blog.

Phillip/Ben, from their FAQ:
"When you log in to your Jellyfish account, you will see your current cash back balance, including your pending cash back purchases. It typically takes 45 to 60 days for a merchant return policy to expire (we can't pay you cash back if you return the product) at which point we approve your cash back award. Each time your balance gets above $10, we can mail you a check for approved cash back or transfer the money to your PayPal account. It's up to you."
It appears that you pay full-price up front, but you do get cash back (via check or PayPal) no more than 60 days after the transaction.
Here's a list of current woot-like sites that I know of.
Site, Update time, offers
SAC,N/A,various
DailySwag,12am central, each day has its own theme.
LunarLoot,10pm central, LED flashlights! w00t!
Tanga,9pm central, games and gaming, but they did have a harddrive last night.

The only thing that worries me is that the savings is not actually taken off the product cost. It's put into what they call "Jellyfish Savings Account".
Anyone have experience with this more? I don't really want to pay full price and just get credit on a site I never go to anyway.
