Meet Your New Associate Editor: Meghann Marco

2779 views

We quested long and far but finally we found our new associate editor. Meet, Meghann Marco. She's done such an excellent job filling in we decided to officially anoint her!

Previously, Meghann wrote a book called, "Field Guide to the Apocalypse: Movie Survival Skills for the End of the World," along with writing for McSweeney's Internet Tendency, OK!, and the Arizona Daily Star.

Having braved a video store manager position in a Chicago area mall as a youngster, Meghann brings a perspective from both sides of the cash register.

Now firmly ensconced in Brooklyn, Meghann looks forward to continuing and expanding her piss-take with a heart of gold routine at The Consumerist.

She has pet venus fly trap and has never ice skated in her life. Give her a warm welcome!— BEN POPKEN

It's nice to have a permanent female viewpoint in the Consumerist editorial team. Congrats, Meghann. We're happy to have you.

She kind of looks like Tim Burtons wife in "Mars Attacks" (the beehive alien girl).

Congrats, I like some of your previous work.

Too bad mediabistro.com's "Hottie of Publishing" competition is over. Ah, there's always next year. Welcome, officially!
