We “liberated” this video from the IIHS press release on their picks for the 2007 safest cars. It’s got large object crashing into cars, and an unflappable chap explaining why electronic whatzits in automobiles are saving your life like never before.

    Yes, he did say “crashworthy”, Mr. Jay, and by nutty dingo, he’s right. These newfangled cars are a whole pantload safer than cars were just a few years ago.

    Or at least some of them are. And I’m darned pleased that the nerdy guy in the video wants to tell us which ones won’t leave us picking broken glass out of our foreheads after a minor impact.
