  1. Bokonon says:

“It was sort of like when I talk with my wife when she’s not happy with me,” Mr. Curling said of his dealings with some of ChoicePoint’s harshest critics. “It’s not exactly a dialogue I look forward to, but I can’t deny it’s important.”

In other words, he’s saying the Consumerist is ChoicePoint’s bitch.

  2. Meg Marco says:

No, he’s saying The Consumerist is an equal partner that he loves and repects. Silly.

  3. Triteon says:

Playing Devil’s Advocate: ChoicePoint had a fairly easy road to the WCiA finals by being matched against Sallie Mae, Southwest Airlines (still a head-scratcher) and finally the US Government.
This while “winner” Halliburton was battle-tested (pun intended) against Monsanto, H&R Block and Wal-Mart.
As the readership increases and the Consumerist anniversary draws near, it’s time to renew this poll.

  4. Smashville says:

Of course, there’s nothing in the article about the site being rebranded to all Nazi t-shirts all the time.

  5. SexCpotatoes says:

Hey, now, racism is the next big thing. Don’t you forget it.

  6. cerulgalactus says:

People, people…can’t we all get back to what is important here – bitching about lousy service from our cellphone providers.

  7. and designing t-shirts, can’t forget about that.
