The Disneyland Sex Orgy

An age-old question finally gets answered: do the costume-wearing Mickeys, Minnies and Goofies at Disney theme parks let off some steam after work by humping each other in a sexy, furry orgy?

Well, at Disneyland Paris, they do, and Disney is none too thrilled about seeing Mickey on his knees, simulating fellatio on a scrotum-less snowman.

“The behavior shown on the video is unacceptable and inexcusable… The video was taken in the backstage area not accessible to guests. Appropriate action has been taken to deal with the cast members involved.”

Thank god that Disney has disciplined the pedestrian dry humping of some of their employees behind closed doors. After all, think of the children.

Don’t forget that they were moronic enough to record it, while one of them was wearing a trademarked costume.

    Idiots.

Wow…just…wow. That is going to be all over furry websites in a few hours.

If that happened in the U.S., Minnie would have slapped a lawsuit on Goofy et al before you could say, “Steamboat Willie.”

So that’s why they smell so weird when you hug them.

CatMoran, do you work for Disney or the RIAA? Trademark has nothing to do with this. You could dress up as Mickey and grope your friends and family for satirical purposes. (Remember that Barbie Girl song from a few years ago?) Their behavior in company costumes is an issue probably dealt with in the terms and conditions of their employment contacts.

Also, I think I just became a Furry.

Neither. Although I interviewed with WDW, like every other teenager living in central Fl.

Trademark law wouldn’t cover a trademark associated with children being used in amateur porn? Huh. My bad. But as you said, their employment contract almost certainly does.

This goes on quite often…but usually they’re smart enough to NOT record it. A couple of my clients are sports arenas, and I can say that I’ve seen (and gotten a good chuckle out of) such behavior backstage from Disney, Sesame Street, and a host of other well-known shows where performers are in those disgusting foam & carpet covered outfits. Let’s just say that I have NO doubt about Bert & Ernie now.

I can understand Disney’s outrage and need to protect their trademarks, but I totally understand the actors’ position. Disney pays terribly low wages, practically no benefits (not even free coffee,) and long hours.

One of the best shows I ever worked was a children’s show like this. I’m going to be very vague to protect the guilty, but the way these shows work is that they’ll roll into town, set up, and do a show or two on the first night. Usually 3 shows the next night and optionally 2-3 shows on the 3rd night. You can only listen to some of these songs for so long before you start to go insane… and at the one show, the lighting director had. 5 shows in 2 days. Let’s just say the guy had a running commentary throughout the show interspersed between directions for the crew. Imagine a naughty version of MST3k, if you will. He had different lyrics for each song… and to top it off, he managed to come up with different lyrics for EACH SHOW! The first show was tame, but funny.. The last show was absolutely raunchy, on a John Valby level.

Needless to say, when we all heard that the show was coming back the next year, all of us eagerly signed up to work it. Unfortunately, it might have been the same brand show, the staff was mild-mannered and made for the longest 2 days I’ve ever worked.

Oh my word, this is the funniest thing I have ever seen. Is it bad that I totally would have been in on that action if I was there?

Ya know, odds are the management knew this kind of hanky panky went on there on a fairly frequent basis. Everywhere I’ve worked there have been things that people did that were against the rules but ‘everybody knew about’. The difference is this: as long as you don’t force the company to take offical notice, they’re okay with letting the behavior continue. Once you force it out in the open by recording it, taking things too far, etc then the company is bound to react in this very fashion.

Dude, it’s France. I’ve been there many times. I have family in Paris. They’re just weird people. Except for the fact that this is Disney, there ain’t nothing weird about how these frogs were acting.

What an amazing coincidence… My blog in just about the Disney Orgy one. I am the TRESemme Conditioner gal. I worked for Disney in Anaheim (but, in the administration office) for 14 years and never saw or heard of anything like this. Guess one had to be working out in the Park to get in on this angle. I must admit, however, that I did hear a few things about Mickey…
