QVC Ladder of Shame

733 views

Here's a classic (i.e., 9 months ago) video demonstrating the ease and reach of the Telesteps 12 1/2 Aluminum Telescoping Ladder. Not recommended for consumers maladroit at landing on their feet...

"That has never happened" Thank you caller!

And, um, is that Gawker Artist picture of the woman in black wearing a strap-on? Are we getting into the Fleshbot series of artists now?

Yeah, that caller seems to have an undue measure of urgency in her voice. Could the calls be faked OMG! ::wink.

So nice of the QVC guys to stay on camera instead of going over to make sure their coworker is ok. No, the viewers are far more important.

I have that ladder. You really have to be superduper careful that it really is locked into place. It has huge warnings on it not to open it a certain way but really it's just a bad design.

Didn't buy it off QVC, though...

Looking up tv bloopers on YouTube is a total daykiller.

His head really bounced on the floor.

The good news is when he gets turned down for workers comp, he has the video to prove it!

What is the point of product demonstrations like this. "Look! That guy is totally using that ladder! I've never seen a ladder so...so climable!"

Or do most QVC shoppers have no idea how to use a ladder, and thus need a practical demonstration?

Quick, someone post the katana mishap!

@yaotl
I was just going to say the same, QVC screw ups resulting in personal injury are hilarious. I'd watch QVC all day if that happend more often

Could one get a spot on QVC to promote a "QVC Bloopers!" DVD?

This is kinda old. And yes, it's really from QVC
