Yeesh. Cockroaches scurrying over boxes. Dead mice drowned in the back alley. Scavenger faeces amongst the food stuffs. Little Polish boys found eaten alive by rats when they drink too much beer on the premises. What is this, The Jungle?

Nope, except for the skeletal polish boy with rat-gnawed bones, it’s just the Starbucks on 2nd Avenue and 9th Street in NYC. This is about a month old, but god, some horrors are timeless. Hat tip to our sister, mother, secret love site, Gawker Proper.
