Target Misses With Talking Action Roosevelt Figure

At left, the Franklin Roosevelt doll from Target. Seated at right, our 32nd president.

The action figure brings to life when FDR went back in time and possessed a certain famous inventor's body to cure himself of polio, using only a series of pneumatic tubes* attached to a church steeple.

* Tubes and steeple not included. Thanks to Celeste!

This is a test using rich text formatting and html links. It's the generic "company" ad that should appear on all posts with the Company category if they don't have an ad attached to a specific company.

Oh hell, did anyone notice the guest reviews at the bottom of the page? This has been on Target's site since at least June 9th!

The maker's site is here and they have the real FDR action figure there. They also have Moses, Jesus, Pope John Paul, Einstein, Hillary Clinton, Ahnold, and Mandela. You can also vote for the next figures they do!

Maybe, finally, I can land an honest-to-goodness Al Gore doll, just like Martin Prince! "You are hearing me talk."

My only question is this: How many did they sell before they pulled it off their website?
