AMEX Downgrades Double Rewards
AMEX announced it's getting rid of double rewards for certain venues and changing its annual fees.
Grocery and drug stores and gas stations will no longer qualify for double rewards. However, a few online retailers will be added to the 2X reward program.
Interestingly, the card will boast a new insurance plan that pays back customers who miss live events, like concerts.
The changes could take place by next month, so stock up on those hohos and cough syrup.
