Fight the Robot Revolution! Get A Human!

Customer service lines are designed as telephonic labyrinths for a reason: they want you to emit a bellow of inhuman frustration and just hang up. One less customer satisfied is one less CSR who needs to be paid!

With some patience, a slew of obscenities and face butting your phone pad, you generally can get a human through trial and error. But there’s a better way: the Get Human database, a huge compendium of customer service numbers for most major American companies, along with pithy instructions on how to actually get a human on the other line.

Will that human help you? Probably not — most customer service agents are robots of a different sort, after all. But at least it gives you a human voice to vilify.

Get Human Database (Thanks, Paul!)
