Portable Cellphone Booth

Mobile privacy booths for cellphone users. Inextricably set to an Aphex Twin track.

The waterproof cell is made of Chinese merchant bags and boasts shoulder straps and a storage pocket.

Video and project by Jenny Chowdhury for her NYU project. With a little bit of painter's tape, some dumpster diving and spray paint, you too can have an MBA in Design and Technology. Found at theapt.

Imagine passing gas in that thing.

Is that aphex twin? It sounds a bit like boards of canada.

And I thought that everything useful that could be invented already has.
I stand corrected.

The song is Iz-Us by Aphex Twin. It's on the Come to Daddy EP. Fifty Million bonus points to Jenny for using it.

That's a neat idea for feaux privacy. It would be funny if someone were standing outside waiting to use it when she was done, and then she just zipped it up and walked away. Could use some vertical support too.

Also sharply ironic that she had a RAZR phone, known for its smallness, in that giant bag-thing.

Of course it's ironic. NYU hands out Bachelor's of Science in Irony more than any other major.
