America's 12 Most Dangerous Employers
Today is Worker Memorial Day, commemorating workers who have died on the job. To "celebrate," the nation's 12 most dangerous employers were named in a report released this week by the National Council for Occupational Safety and Health (NCOSH).
In alphabetical order, the offenders are:
British Petroleum, Cintas Corp (supplies workplace uniforms), DuPont Corp, Hayes Lemmerz International (manufacturing plant), Honda, International Coal Group, McWane (sewer and water pipe manufacturer), Safety Bingo Inc (a real doozy, this company sells games that are supposed to teach workplace safety but the game actually discourages reporting injuries), Suneis (construction), UNICCO (maintenance operation sub-contractor), Wal-Mart, W.R. Grace (asbestos mining company).
NCOSH is a federation of non-profit local and state Committees/Coalitions on Occupational Safety.

Honda gets a mention, but crab fisherman in the bering sea don't?
Frankly, I'd rather risk the dreaded RSI over 50 foot rogue waves.
I guess Honda's "Safety for Everyone" campaign has an implied ellipsis at the end of it -- followed by the phrase, "except our own employees".
I guess the Marines don't technically qualify...
