Wal-Mart Stocks Brokeback Mountain Next to Sesame Street

We’ve received a late-breaking report that a Wal-Mart in Englewood, CO is stocking Brokeback Mountain next to The Chronicles of Narnia and the Sesame Street learning series.

Almost like Wal-Mart begging for controversy.

Either that, or the retailer hopes the combined powers of Elmo, the Cookie Monster, Big Bird and Aslan can somehow mitigate the nefarious power of two men helping America come to terms with homosexuality.

Or, all three DVDs were released today and the end of the aisle is prime retail real-estate.

The world may never know.

I wish I knew how to quit you, Elmo del Mar…

    *hangs head in shame*

Yes. My money’s on that one.

This does not a homosexual agenda conspiracy make. It’s capitalism. And who loves capitalism more than the Krazy Korporate Kristians?

This does not a chocolate cake bake! It’s sarcasm! And who loves crack more than Krispy Kreme-eating Krazy Korporate Krishna?

(I’ve got to lay off the smack!)

It’s too bad Veggie Tales: The New Movie wasn’t coming out (no pun intended) on DVD. That would have been a nice head-to-head (no pun intended there either)!

Well, there are some commonalities… Narnia & Brokeback are both fairy tales, and the characters in Sesame Street & Brokeback each come alive with the insertion of fists into their body cavities.
