.....Which will more or less cover the legal liability allowed by most state laws. Anything over $50 is probably going to be exempted. Notice that they say nothing about the poor debit card user...

So Office Max is saying that, through the combination of the federal law on credit card PLUS their own guarantee, you'll be liable for ZERO dollars. What more do you want them to do - pay you a bonus?
