This brings back long-lost memories: Short Circuit and Short Circuit II the movies!

Where oh where was my dear friend Oscar when these cinematic triumphs graced our retinas?

…..All of those custom sets are outrageously priced, and have been since the LBJ era when I was a kid. We found the basic building sets to be a lot more reasonable. I’m not sure if this is true now…

…..Legos were my absolute favoritest toy when I was little! My dad made us this huge, flat box (It would barely fit under a twin bed!)out of paneling, and we’d get basic Lego sets every birthday and Christmas. And we’d just immediately dump the entire contents of the set into the big box.

…..Eventually, we filled the box, and could built fleets of space ships, or a whole town. One time, we build a huge model of the Seaview, from “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea,” sized for Hot Wheels rrRumbler figures. It was so cool! We cried when our mother made us break it down so she could get in to vacuum our room!
